MPT detected w385....now it cant anymore?

First time I got MPT 4.5.6a up and running, it detected my w385 no problem, i was able to transfer two ringtones using multimedia studio.

Now it wont detect my phone to save it's life. I've tried the same USB port, I've uninstalled MPT and reinstalled it. Same with Moto usb drivers, cleaned and updated, uninstalled, reinstalled. NOTHING.

Then I came across a topic that says to use P2Kcommander. That doesn't work too. 4.9C, 4.9E, and 3.x that another user was using. Motorola software update freezes on me when i connect the phone. P2k doesn't detect my phone whatsoever, i just get an error message saying No P2k device found.

What gives? the ringtones i transferred work just fine, now MPT cant detect my phone to save it's life.
