Welcome to the new Japanese Phones forum.

Here, you will find a general area for discussing anything related to Japanese phones that you feel does not belong to a specific manufacturer.

Currently, there are three subforums, named Sharp, Panasonic, and Others (includes Mitsubishi, NEC, etc.), so please post in the appropriate one.

If you have any suggestions or changes you would like to see, please post them here.

Something I would like to point out is to keep your posts free of any language other than English.

To keep the forum as organized as possible, it's important for you to search before posting a thread, or asking a question that may have been answered already.

Now, follow the rules, and enjoy your stay!

New "SHOW OFF YOUR KEITAI'S" thread is up! Indeed, Pshooters and Sharpshooters will live together in harmony.

They would only ever run on the 1900 GSM band. Theoretically, DoCoMo phones will work on the 850 UMTS/HSDPA band, but so far, it doesn't work.

i was wondering...but dont know the specs for hawaii...but is there any docomo phones that could be used here in hawaii..and what type of carrier would it be under...

Probably AT&T or T-Mobile. I don't know which carrier works best out there. I've never been there (-_-")
