So when you order a iphone from AT&T online, its same as buying a iphone from apple online? Meaning there is no contract or anything until you connect it to itunes? So if i want to sell the iphone or anything, i will not have any problems? Anyone have any experience with that? I know there is a limit of one iphone per order, has anyone placed multiple ordered?

i bought my first iphone directly from apple at an apple store. the second iphone i bought from ATT online. first one i activated through itunes, second i unlocked/activated/jailbroke with ziphone.

after buying over 250, yeah they are a little hard to buy lol

Well the real problem isnt buying them, but its that most apple stores still don't have them in stock.

I checked all local apple stores they don't have it in stock.

I am going to buy from apple online store, but it says "Two-year activation agreement with AT&T required."

Do they make me activate if I buy online?

No, activation is still done via iTunes so they can't force you during the online purchase process.

you should buy it from online att store, because apple there is 5-7 days wait.

so my original question here was if there is a limit on number of iphones you can order from the att website, and yes there is a limit, limit of 2! After i ordered two, they canceled my other orders, but i did get the iphones within like 3 days with DHL.

when you place the order it says the total was $499 for 16GB, meaning no tax. But they do charge tax when you see the charge on your statement.

Yeah, until you have to return it for repair or something... then they ask you why it isn't activated, etc etc... then refuse to look at it!

i dont think that apple cares, they still make money on 'em... either way its win - win for them
