Just bought it and DL it from Motorola today.

1st impression, it SUCKS!

No settings, so you can't change your phone type manually (at least from what I have found). It's really picky about installing a phone (took me 4-5 tries).

I like the 4.X version much better, what a waste of $38.49!

Did you own 4.x? Did you know that you get free upgrades for MPT? I just Live Updated to 5.0.7a this morning.

If you send BVRP proof of ownership they will send you a link to download an official, full installation, too. Coulda saved $38.49

However, I will agree, having to change the connection type before starting things is a PITA. And I haven't figured out how to get the classic view to "stick" yet...

I had a registered version of 3.X, but couldn't find the POP for it. So figured it was time to just buy a new version. After I E-Mailed and told them what I really thought of this version, they provided a link to the current 4.X version.

Question:

How did you get 5.X to stay on a classic screen? I'm assuming that is the picture of the phone? Plus, for the Z6TV I have to tell it a different modem type to get the multimedia studio in 4.X, I can't for the life of me figure out how to change it in 5.X.

I had messed around with the leaked 5.0.5 - it wouldn't remember. The released version seems to remember, but anything you select goes back into the new mode until you click the down arrow at the bottom.
