Moving up from the CU500

I'm now eligible for a phone upgrade after being with the CU500 for the last 18+ months. I've begun looking into phones again, but I'm a bit lost in the current array of options. I was thinking of upgrading to a smart phone, and I like the Centro, but the lack of 3G is a deal-breaker for me.

I need something with 3G, bluetooth, can handle light web-browsing well, and is otherwise comparable to or a 'step up' from the CU500. What are the current options?

If I'm angling towards the z750, I figure why not wait until the z780...

Is it right to assume the z780 will be picked up by AT&T? If so, how soon?

If its the same as any other SE phone, you would have to wait a longgggggggggg time. The Z750 came was first anounced in March of 07 and sold overseans soon after. While att had to disable GPS and completly ruin the Menu and it was realease 4/11. The Z780 was just announced so figure by june of 09 it will be out.

well I'm pretty sold. Does anyone know if the rediculously good deal currently going on through amazon.com is valid to upgrade an at&t premier account? If so, that would obviously be the best way for me to upgrade. Pay $0.01 and get a phone and a $100 rebate? Count me in!

i have the lg cu500, so i got the lg cu515, its not to bad. its 3g anyways.

well I think it took a while overseas for the z750i, as if it were to be for sale overseas, people would have posted plemix, etc got it
