hey all. i used to have a motorola so im very used to motorola phone tools, but now i have a dash and id like to know if there is a program similar to it where u can chop up the song as u like it... i have a program now called "audacitiy" but my dash doesnt recognize the file type, actually my computer wont even play the file lol so any programs please?

I use audacity to make ringtones and I have no problems putting them on my Dash. Are you exporting them as MP3 or what?

yeah it has to be mp3's. like i tried to export a wav file but it doesnt work. There is a program called waveosaur. its about the same as audacity and its freeware.

audacity works fine. just export as mp3 under whatever size limit is used for dash into the correct folder. or edit the registry and change the size limitations.

I place mine in the sounds folder with no problems.
