Sprint, Verizon and even Alltel have versions of the Touch. The closest AT&T has is the Tilt, and without the improved interface found on the unbranded (TyTN II) version. So yes, the iPhone is ruining the chances to get a better HTC phone. Your best bet is to get a Touch or Touch Cruise unbranded or wait until July to get the unlocked Touch Dual US version that Best Buy will carry.

This just a guess based off "End of 2nd quarter" that has been floated around? I am pretty excited about this phone but if this article about the 3g iPhone for $200 then I might just on the iPhone bandwagon (I am thinking 1 out of 10 chance this would happen).
