Ok i called t-mobile and they unlocked my 6133 i then went onto nokia pc suite and updated my software....my crappy cable must have unplugged a little in the middle of the update, now it wont tun on and my computer won't reconize it at all! if i hold the power button while connected to the computer, i will hear that ding sound when you connect hardware, but thats it! I'm lost on what to do now! its only 3 days old.... my fault for trying to mod stuff without the propper knowledge!
I would prefer not to send it to iunlock for the price they are asking!
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you

what software did you update your phone with?

Take it back to T-Mobile since its only 3 days old. Don't tell them you tried to flash it though.

The problem is that i bought it new from someone not t-mobile $50 and killed it!

Just want to see if someone has a solution

I think i just re-updated the sofware that was on it in the first place!
I wrote Nokia and they said take it to a service center!
I may just buy one with a cracked screen or something else wrong and just swap the motherboard or whatever it's called.... or just sell it on there for parts! my backup phones suck Motorola v3 and a Nokia 2610! no sd no nothing!!!!
I did learn one thing........ never buy a cheap a$$ cable off ebay! lol
Still any help or info would still be appreciated!

A nokia authorized service centre can still flash a dead phone and possibly revive it. you might as well give this a shot since its your only hope left of reviving your handset.

So you're saying your options are:

1. Buy a partially working 6133, find the right screw drivers and hope you know what you're doing in servicing your phone's hardware when you couldn't handle servicing it's software.

2. Pay to send it to a professional service center that probably guarantees the results you are looking for.

...no offense, but do you really think option 1 is the better idea?

Thanks for the worthless info PYRO!
Well i have the right screwdriver and got a spare phone and swapped the inside out and it works fine!
The software thing on a Nokia is just something i shouldnt mess with!
Electronics....... No prob!

I'll take this episode as one to grow on. I'm a hardware person also. Where can you get a listing of Nokia service centers? Will 3rd party unlock companies flash any branded handset? I have one or two back-ups that need to be freed.

Go to iunlock.com!
They say the can even do dead phones!

I can change the firmware on any motorola but i must be missing something on the Nokia's, but im still doing my homework on it!
I got the NSS and cant get it to connect!

^ The official way to deal w/ your situation is the so-called "Dead Phone Flashing". There're 3rd party flasher can do that too as well. Google it (that's all I can tell here).
