Ok i called t-mobile and they unlocked my 6133 i then went onto nokia pc suite and updated my software....my crappy cable must have unplugged a little in the middle of the update, now it wont tun on and my computer won't reconize it at all! if i hold the power button while connected to the computer, i will hear that ding sound when you connect hardware, but thats it! I'm lost on what to do now! its only 3 days old.... my fault for trying to mod stuff without the propper knowledge!
I would prefer not to send it to iunlock for the price they are asking!
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you

I am interested to see if this can be fixed.

The exact same thing happened to me when I just today tried to update my N95 to the most recent firmware. I know the wire did not disconnect but my computer showed in the system tray that it was disconnected and then some new drivers were installed. The progress for the update stayed at 15% for 4 hours. Thats when I tried to restart it and found that i can't turn on my phone. It does make the sound when I connect via usb to my computer again, but pc suite and software updater doesn't recognize the phone.

Cknewdeal, Did you find anything out about your phone yet?
I ended up buying one with cracked screens off ebay and swapping the power board..... now I'm good to go!

what kind of cord do i need to buy for the nokia 6133 and what do i tell tmobile when i call them to unlock it?

Posted by: olstoro

Buy the CA-53 cable, but i would recommend not getting a cheap one!
try a T-mobile store or website.
Call t-mobile and tell them that you are traveling out of the country for awhile and you want to keep using your phone and have the ability to use it with other services out there and when you come back... keep using t-mobile! If you find someone that don't know what they are doing it may take awhile on the phone...... for me it took almost 2hrs!
they will send a request to Nokia... then they send you the unlock code, I got mine the next day through email!

Well I wasn't able to get anything done with the phone. I found a local repair shop near me and I explained my problem to them, and they said this is common with Nokia phones and that they could repair it. I will take it to them this week and see what they can do and for how much.
