google maps wont pop up?

i have it installed on my phone, and i click it once and it never shows up. sometimes it attempts to show up but it freezes and i have to reboot the phone? any suggestions?

I had a problem with my Google Maps the other day. I kept getting an eror message when I tried to use "My Location." It may have been because I had turned off my Bluetooth GPS receiver. A battery pull corrected it.
