Tilt - Sounds for Hardware buttons keeps going off

I have a Tilt, and I have enabled sounds for hardware buttons, but the setting seems to undo itself a few times a day.
Going to Settings\Sounds & Notifications, I've checked (Enable sounds for) Hardware buttons, and selected Loud. Setting this makes the Tilt make a sound when one of the hardware buttons is used or pressed.
Every so often throught the day, the settings seems to un-check itself, and I end up having to re-set it.
I'm trying to narrow down what I did right before the setting got un-set, but haven't been able to find any pattern of use that would consistently cause this.
I've also considered if any of my button utility programs (like AE Buttons) might be causing this, but haven't gotten around to doing any real testing on it yet.
Has anyone else experienced this before?
