xv6700 HELP!

I have a xv6700 running WM5, lately some programs/games I download dont work I get a "Not running current windows.net" so i went on to microsoft and downloaded the latest WM5 updates pack I uploaded and ran it on my xv6700 via USB cable. Everything looked normal then my screen went dark, I can still semi read my screen and it says USB v1.02 when I disconnect my USB cable the display reads serial v1.02 and still no backlight. I did a hard reset and my backlight came back on reading "press Y to restore factory default press N to exit" when I hit Y using my qwerty pad it says "clearing now press space bar to reboot" then the screen goes dark again and back to USB v1.02. Has anyone experienced this? How do I fix this?

Go over to http://www.xda-developers.com and goto the apache forum and there is a file that you can download that will take it out of bootloader mode. also you might of had a bad flash. when in bootloader mode the backlight will be off. you might want to try out Helmi's WM6.1 kitchen on ppcgeeks.com
