The title pretty much speaks for itself.
I tried to add some new ringtones to my LG VX-9900 "EnV" today and the program could not detect my phone, I tried all the settings and all the versions of BitPim. It used to work fine before, but now it just dosn't detect whatsoever...
Please help.
Thanks in advance.

I'll take a stab at this, but I may be way off track.
If you're using Windows go to Contro Panel > System > Device Manager > Ports. Look to see which Com port the cable connected to your phone is using i.e. COM4. Make sure your software is looking for the same COM port.
It may be scanning multiple COM ports until if finds one it knows, but sometimes that isn't reliable, so you need to hard set the software to the right COM port.
Good luck

Thanks for your help Ratz Azz, but I fear there is no prevail..
The phone never did this before.. I was always able to use BitPim just fine. Perhaps its the software updates that Verizon performs on the phones that lock out third party software such as BitPim??
