T-Mobile 8320 to AT&T

I have researched and looked everywhere for the answer to this question and could not find a answer, If someone could please answer this.

I recently got the 8320 T-mobile unlocked and I use it on the AT&T network.
Everything works but AIM, Yahoo Messenger and some third party programs can't contact their networks because it says it does not have permission. I have updated the firmware to the latest 8320 T-Mobile firmware.

I have read that it is recommended that you take the firmware from AT&T 8310 and put it on the 8320, is it true or a good thing to do? Do I lose wireless connection because the 8310 for AT&T doesn't have wireless. (Not talking about the UMA)

But some people said it was pointless because it will all be the same.

My main question is...what is the best setup I can do for the 8320 to work the best on the AT&T network.

How can I completly get rid of stupid programs such as MusicID and T-Mobile junk instead of just hiding the icons?

Thanks

Don't use any software or firmware or anything not made for your device - you will turn it into a brick.

Do you have a BB dataplan?

Yes i do have the Blackberry plan from AT&T. I was trying to use the programs that was already on the phone.

Since it is a T-Mo phone, they are probably trying to use the T-Mo network. There are some settings that need to be changed, but I am not the expert at that, so I don't want to even try.

Try posting the question on the RIM forum or over at blackberryforums.com

These may require service books from the carrier but I can't say that with any certainty. I'd actually recommend using Jivetalk for IM but it's not a free app. You might have some luck if you search around on BlackberryForums.com as I'm sure it has been discussed over there.
