Curve keeps freezing with calendar reminders

Hi all.

Just got a refurbished Curve from AT&T and I rely on it very heavily for the calendar - sync with MS Outlook, of course.

I upgraded from an 8700.

I often hit "snooze" on my reminders and sometimes will build up a list of 5-8+ reminders on "snooze."

I notice that my 8700 got bogged down after a while of I guess having too many calendar reminders on "snooze" in the memory, but my Curve just freezes after a while where one of the reminders will stay stuck on the screen and not move - I have to pull the battery to get it off - turning the power on/off does not work.

I have reinstalled the latest version of the OS - 4.2.2.170 - and still no dice.

Do I have a bum device & should I look at exchanging it for another? Any other ideas how to fix this?
