I have a Motorola RAZR V3 I want to fix up as a backup. It recently unlocked it via the free process offered online (flashing it, then using the unlocking software). After this, it said the phone was successfully unlocked but now it appears that the SIM cards are not being read. When I put a sim card in, it does not register as having anything in it. What could I do to fix this?

What exactly is it saying? Does it say "Insert Sim" or?

It just says "Insert SIM" and the phone displays all the characteristics of having no SIM (i.e. 911 calls only, no menu access etc.)

Hey I have a motorola V3 and I changed from Fido to Rogers cause Fido was screwing me for long distance fees. Anyway the girl put the rogers sim card in and now it's locked. Fido won't provide an unlock code, rogers can't... any ideas???
