I want a WM6 phone with Qwerty and the build quality of a Vertu/Gresso/iPhone/etc...

I have been using the same wonderful Blackjack forever, and I have it dialied in like I want and it's flawless... Having said that, I am addicted to phones (like most of us here) but I haven't found anything that gets my attention. I really don't care what it costs, but I want something amazing like a Vertu or Gresso.

Anyone have any ideas???

I need the run of mill specs as the Moto Q9h or the Samsung BJ2, with a QWERTY. But I want something that feels like a Rolex compared to a Timex.

Like I said, cost is of no importance...

Maybe the upcoming HTC Diamond? Anyone know about it's size compared to the blackjack.

ugh i will never go back to WM. its so laggy and unreliable.

i recomend the HTC Touch or T-Mobile Wing.

the HTC Touch is WM6 standard with a touch screen (its kinda ugly in my opinion)

the T-Mobile Wing is a WM6 Professional with touch screen and slide-out QWERTY keypad and a virtual keyboard in case you dont want to slide it out. But its chunky as hell!

Although the HTC touch doesnt have QWERTY, its a really nice phone.
it has 3g video calling which is pretty freakin amazing, decent sized touch screen, gps, and a bunch of other features. unfortunately it has a semi-qwerty keypad (i think its called sure-type keypad) just like the blackberry pearl and t-mobile shadow.

EDIT:
yeah if your going to wait, definately go for the diamond!

but compared to a blackjack..........

Demension: 51 x 100 x 10.7 millimetres = Diamond
Demension: 113 x 59 x 11.8 millimeters = Blackjack

To clarify, the Touch can use several different virtual keypads, including SureType, QWERTY, stylus QWERTY, T9, handwriting recognition, and transcriber which just deciphers whatever you draw in the input area. There's others you can load also for larger QWERTY keyboards for your fingers.

The most sturdy, well built Windows Mobile phones I've ever felt have been the Blackjack II and the VX6800 from Verizon. Other than that, it'll be hard to match the built quality of something like a Vertu.

Here you go HTC Diamond
# 2.8-inch VGA display
# WinMo 6.1 Pro
# WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0
# eGPS, FM tuner
# Quad-band HSDPA 7.2
# 4GB internal flash, microSD slot
# 528MHz CPU
# 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus
# 10.7mm (0.47-inches) thick
# Supposedly also features an orientation sensor / accelerometer

the only problem i see with the diamond is the battery life.
the t-mobile shadow battery life was complete **** and sucked more then ANY other phone i owned in the past.

now they are making a bigger screen, bigger camera, bigger processor, and radio so im pretty sure the battery is gonna drain really really fast when using things like the radio, internet, camera, etc.

sure the bigger processor will reduce lag BUT this is gonna beat the hell out of the battery

radio.....isnt really necessary. my nokia 6133 has radio and i never use it.....it drains the battery to fast

3.2mp camera is a nice touch but still no flash and im sure there is no vanity mirror. besides the fact that microsoft's camera applications suck.

i do, however, like the 4gb internet memory with (im sure will be) hot-swappable micro-sd. which correct me if im wrong go up to 4gb now. that means a total of 8gb hich is pretty freakin decent in my opinion.

now only if it had a touch screen or a qwerty keypad (instead of that sure-type keypad) then i would actually consider buying this phone lol

Am I reading this right, the Diamond is smaller/thinner/shorter than the Black Jack??? If that's the case I am sold!

the best windows mobile phone out right now is the HTC tytn II /at&t tilt. its got amazing build quality, feels very heavy/sturdy (depending which way u look at it!)

I love HTC products. I blame window's mobile for their OS reliability - not the manufacturer.

But 6.1 seems promising as well as the Raphael/Diamond. It's definitely going to be my next phone under Sprint's SERO.

When the hell are they gonna put a video/camera like the n95. I don't get how hard it is.
