Iphone Top Button Not working

Hey guys, i have a hacked phone through iliberty+. I was wondering if anybody had a problem with their top button. when i press it to turn off the phone/putting phone to sleep mode, it doesn't work.
i have a hypothesis that it could possibly be dust? Should i blow through the headphone jack? or is this maybe a hacking issue?

i would just to a restore in iTunes and then re-unlock it

i had to send mine back to apple for a replacement when the sleep wake button stopped working
