Maybe I didn't look hard enough here or it's not here but here is a tutorial on how to do this on the SE w580i.

I used a PC to Debrand. You'll need the USB Cable that came with your phone. Make sure you charge ur phone 100% just to be safe.

I used This~~> W580i Flashing / Debranding Tutorial to debrand my w580i from AT&T.

I used This ~~> GDFS Backup Turorial to back up the GDFS files.

Everything worked great!

it took less than 10minutes to debrand the phone. I'm gonna test out the internet settings w/ tzones, and install opera mini onthere when I get a chance.

I think I should mention that my phone was already unlocked, idk if that makes a difference. also, i used the driver installation program that download with the files for the first tutorial i listed above. but followed the 2nd tuts directions for backing up the GDFS.

So far i've noticed that the ATT logo is gone and the walkman animations replace everything att had on the phone when it was branded. I've set mp3's from my M2 card as both ringtones and message tones, where previously I could only set the message alert to mp3.

I'll be trickin the phone out with flash menus and loading some of the themes I've downloaded onto the phone. I'll update accordingly.

Ok, so I've loaded a bunch of games on this thing and they all work, Zuma, Doom, Bejeweled. Opera Mini is on here the newest one is great with the full preview of the html page and the zoom option. Although the default browser is actually really good too! As far as settings you can go to tmobile.com and enter your number and the phone model and select what you want settings for and they'll send the settings straight to your phone, all you've got to do is select install and you are done! I don't know if other US carriers have this option but it works great!

Now all I need is to get some more of those hot flash menus on here and we'll be set, any suggestions?

There was already a debranding guide specifically for the w580, found here http://howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1267845

In the same modding section you can also find acoustic and camera drivers for the w580i. Patch unlocking too.

What firmware are you running? I go on esnips or 4shared for packs with flashmenu's w/ themes.
