One would assume that since it's taken at&t about a thousand years to test it and release it that they are working on getting the external LCD controls to work like they do on the Euro/HK version. I'm not exactly sure, but when I was at the Motostore I only saw branded phones.
You could buy the with service or off-contract, but they specified "Gray RAZR V3xx for -insert carrier name-"

By the way, Bluetooth Class 2 is up to 2.5mW. So the module that's in the V9x is just above that cutoff limit.

Don't bother buying any unlocked V9's unless they're from Rogers in Canada. The reason for this: The ONLY other 3G-capable carrier that the V9 is made for that uses 850/1900 is Rogers in Canada. The rest of the unlocked V9's use 2100 and at that point, you'd be better off just buying a V8 unlocked.
