How can I retrieve files, particularly my contacts list from my phone, and if I can retrieve that particular file how can I "read" it to view its information?

My LCD is damaged and can't be read, although the phone calls and the contact info is there because I can access it through sheer memorization and it will still call.

I presumably will have to purchase a data connector and attain drivers, bitpim, etc., but what I looking for when I get into the phone?

Is there any way I can "send" the file to myself, email, sms or otherwise?

I took it to some cell places and they couldn't print out or access the info, and they thought they could put a new LCD in, but they "couldn't."

If I took it to them again, what could I tell them to do or look for?

Help me please, I just need that data and the ability to "read" it in English! And an advanced thank you to anyone who can help!
