Possible virus in mobile, will flashing help?

My little brother can't access his Games and Applications folder and he gets "connection failed" when he tries to install games/apps. We've tried reseting to factory settings and formating the memory stick, but it doesn't help. He's using a W810i. I was thinking of flashing the phone with it's original drivers and maybe that would fix it.
Also, does anyone know where I can find the original W810i drivers?

(Edit doesn't work for me so I'm adding another post)
We've flashed the phone using the SE software for mobile upgrade. It said the mobile software was up to date, but we flashed it anyway. But still games and applications couldn't be installed on it.

You're either going to have to pay to flash it through wotanserver.com or davinciteam.com, or you can read some tutorials on how to flash it yourself for free. SE's update software only flashes the main part of the software. You need a full flash to get rid of that issue. By the way, it's not a virus it's just a bug in SE's firmware.

Ok, nice to see someone recognizing the problem =) Can a full flash be done using XS++ and do you have any links to how I can do them? I live in Sweden, so sending the mobile to an online retailer is the last option.

It can be done with XS++. You can find lots of tutorials and files on se-nse.com. Wotan and DaVinci are not retailers. They are an online flashing service. You don't have to send your phone anywhere. The only reason I recommend them is because they are much easier than XS. I think Wotan costs about $10 (7Euro) and Davinci costs about $15. If you feel comfortable with it though, SeTool 2 Lite and XS++ are free. It justs takes a little reading before you attempt it.
