but like when u look straight at the screen does it look like nothing is on it? or can u still see the picture (picture that is on the screen protector thing there?)

u can still see the outline if you look straight at it. its over the screen after all.

i modded a privacy screen protector that was for my iPod touch and applied it to my P905i. I also have one on my 707SC and yes they do work.

looking straight at it, the screen will appear as normal. tilt to either side, and the screen looks like it's blacked out. nifty idea i must say.

BTW, thanks for sharing that link. I need a new screen protector anyway.

I have used a few on my phones as well as on my PDA and laptop. They certainly do work, that's for sure, however I have noticed that they darken the screen when YOU are viewing it, a little bit.

Agreed and it doesn't necessarily make your screen look nice. However, that situation might not be so bad if you're using P905i which has 400 m/cd brightness! Crank it up to the max and you shouldn't have too much trouble reading
