XP: Keep my NIB BB 8110 or wait for the iPhone?

So, I won a Blackberry 8110 (so, I haven't added the service to my contract yet) for free, but I'm really jonesing for the second generation iPhone (hopefully coming out in June 2008). What should I do? Sell the unopened Blackberry now (and if so, where and for how much? Ebay?)? Keep the BB and just suck it up? Use the BB until the iPhone comes out and then sell the BB used?
I just don't know and I want to figure this out before I either (a) open the phone or (b) add the service to my contract.
I'm really hurting here because I sooooo want to play with my new toy and am bad about waiting...
THANKS!!

Wirelessly posted (Nokia 6620: BlackBerry8110/4.3.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

I read this same post recently on another hofo board or on Pinstack.

Hopefully by now you've already made your decision.

A brand new BlackBerry Curve 8310 on eBay is going for roughly $230

A used 8310 in near perfect condition will get you probably anywhere from $130-175 depending on how perfect it is, how well the pictures were taken and how high your rating is on ebay.

If you haven't opened up the phone yet I would wait at least untill Monday and hopefully you'll find some information out on the new iPhone and possibly when it is expected to come out.

If you get no information on Monday and decide you'd rather just open and use the phone ... I'd suggest you invest in possibly like a hard or rubber case for the phone this way in the case of the phone falling you might be able to save it from a dent which would lessen the value.
