Activating

I Activated, Jailbroke, and activated with Ziphone for t-mobile use and i decided to go to AT&T. I went through the Gophone and picked my plan and Data and i they asked for an IMEI and i entered the iphone IMEI. i was reading around that AT&T is catching on to people who use MediaNET with an iphone on GOphones, so i decided to go legit and restore and activate with itunes. My question, since i entered my IMEI on a previous Account. WIll i run into any problems activating? Can i close the previous account. What steps i need to do before i go through the activation, i already have a second sim card.
