Has anyone made the switch & been very satisfied with the mogul? Cause I'm thinking about trying it out. It's actually cheaper than the 755p I've been looking at getting & the rev A, GPS, and A2DP is VERY appealing. I dunno, I've been using Treos since January of '05 & I'm getting the urge to stray a little... What do you guys think I should do?

Well I'm still using an Apache (6700) and I prefer it over the Treo 755p. It's the design of the Treo's that bothers me. I much prefer the sliding keyboard and adjusting screen versus the all up front approach of the treo. Not to mention why not use an OS that is already more similar to the one that's on your desktop. As far as I can tell, with the exceptions of a higher resolution, the specs on my Apache which is 2 years old are better than that of the 755p. Go with the Mogul (6800). The new HTC interface is pretty sweet too so make sure you upgrade to wm6 if it isn't already and get a copy of the htc interface.

I hate the HTC mogul. It lags when switching from text to home screen and vice versa. The slide out keyboard is ok but not that great, it just doesn't make sense to slide out a keyboard to type when you can do it on the phone itself like the treo and blackberrys. I'm actually on my 3rd one since January 2008. The first one was defective the phone would freeze alot and finally the screen would not come on. Second one freezed a few times and had a malfunction on a button. The 3rd and last one is ok but still freezes alot and needs to be soft booted few times a week or so.
Now I hope the new Blackberry Curve that I will get tomorrow will be a better phone
