I got my kyocera 6035 last month and have been playing with it a lot. How great is the idea of combining pda and phone together! Now 7135 is out and I can't wait to get one.

My American choice family plan will end next month. As I understand, when I renew the contract, I can get discount on phones. My question is: Do I get discount on phones of both lines? Could I add up these discounts to get only one new phone for the lowest price? what's the best way to do this, call in or at local store? The online price is now 499 for my area.

Also my experience with att before is that when you renew the contract, you can get some better retention plan. Is it the same with Verizon? I would appreciate all advice. Thanks.

uscc is doin' $450 with a 2-year...$500 with a 1-year (give or take a few bucks on both prices)...i highly doubt you'd be able to combine the discount onto one phone...however, every line that being renewed is eligible for the discount

Try to stay away from contracts as much as possible.. try buying one unlocked from HoFo or somesuch.
