Any HTC Touch (non-enhananced) users using 8GB SDHC? Any lag at all?

As for the cards itself, what's the fastest card now? Here, I think I can only get hold of Sandisk or Kingston

Just make sure it is a class 6 card, and it should be plenty speedy.

Yes, Class 6 is the fastest out I believe. The device won't use up to that speed though -- usually a class 2 is enough, though a class 4 has been a little bit faster for me. Class 6 would be great for a card reader though.

These classes for the cards, are they written on the box or something?

Yes, it should be mentioned on the box (usually close to the memory size).

I have a 4gig, and sometimes it lags if I use file explorer on the phone to see what is on the card. Takes a little while to load sometimes.
