Thin Clamshell

I owned and used a w600i for almost 2 years, but the screws fell out of the swivel mechanism so I replaced it with a Pantech C150. It's definitely a step down, but it functions.
I'd like to go back to a phone that has a bit more reasonable feature set. I'm not committed to SE by any means, but since my last SE did most of what I wanted it to do, I'll start my search here. Here are my desires, in the order of importance:
Thin clamshell ("thin" doesn't mean impossibly thin, but the thinner the better)
Bluetooth
Ability to backup contacts to the SIM card but only display ones stored on the phone (backing up to the computer is also desirable)
Quad band
3G
Ability to tether to my laptop to connect to the internet
The last two are more of a future proofing thing, I have no immediate plans to use either, and are therefore strictly optional.
One more odd thing. I've always really liked the click that a lot of Sprint phones have when you open and close them. Any phones like this available for GSM?
I'm really looking for a functional phone as I am considering buying something like the N810 for my other needs. Media capabilities are of minimal concern. Thanks for your help!

SE isn't really known for their clamshells, and the few that they DO have aren't really known for their slimness. I was going to recommend the Z710i/W710i, but its probably thicker than what you're looking for (its more in line with your old W600). It does have that click you like though, and can be gotten for very cheap these days.
SE has a few clamshells but lack 850mhz. The one that seems to fit your bill perfectly would be the recently announced Z780. No clue when it'll be out, and how much it will cost, though. The W380i is also pretty thin and comes in a tri-band w/ 850mhz version, but its no where near as nice.

z750 actually meets a lot of your requirements it might have the click too actually. I think a review on youtube I heard the click on it.
