V3M bootloader corupt

Is there any way to mod or replace the actual bootloader on a CDMA V3M? I believe that I have a corrupt file in the bootloader itself. Every time I flash the phone I still get the same number popping up for Sys ID and Net ID under current network and this does not allow the phone to get service and you can't change or remove the numbers. When I program the phone with my area's SID the phone stills thinks that it is registered on this number (it's a 10-digit number). The only thing I have not tried, if there is a way, is to flash the bootloader itself. Is this possible? I know you can do it with GSM phones.
