Samsung Sync Problems Whats the replacement Phone?

My 8 month old Sync is starting to go Lindsay Lohan on me. It cuts off randomly without warning and often freezes. Often when it cuts off the beeping starts to screech. Tried reseting it but that didn't work. Im planning on replacing it with insurance and use it as a backup, then by a new phone (tilt or vu). SORRY for rambling but what type of phone will i recieve for my Sync?

I'll take a guess and say either

another Sync (new or refurb)

Samsung a717 (new or refurb)

Samsung a747 SLM (new)

or any comparable clamshell w/3G.

Seems like the same thing my motos do (V3xx and V2/9 whatever it's called). It's been driving me nuts and I'm on 5th replacement. Mot blames AT&T AT&T says it's mots problem.

I don't know what the cutoff time is, but I had a problem with my first Sync after a couple months & they handed me a new one, no questions no hassle. This one's still plotzing along after nearly two years… another month or so, then if it wheezes I can get a 3G iPhone.
