Getting pics off old phone

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

a friend of mine has a Motorola V400 that used to be on the Cingular network. She has not used the phone for about 2 years now, but remembered that she has pictures stored on the phone that she would like to get off. Below are some of the problems we are having with this phone:

Problem 1 - the phone turns on and boots up, but then turns off, even when plugged in.

Problem 2 - even if we were to get it turned on, how could she get the pics off the phone without have service on it to e-mail them to herself?

I hope to hear some good answers here shortly.

Thank you all in adavance.

What if you were to pull the SIM card from her new phone, insert it into her old phone and then e-mail the pictures?

that works too, providing she still has Cingular and has a new SIM card she can swap briefly.. if not, you can get a data cable hook it up to your computer and transfer them that way...
