Phone stopped picking up network

my phone recently took a small fall (from my bed to the carpet floor) and since then hasnt been recieving the 1800mhz band but it picks up either 1900 or 850 because i tried it on another network using those frequencies. is there any way i can fix this and also is it a hardware problem or a software issue? it is a motorola E2 and its a little over a year old with Katze4 firmware.
