LX Screen On SK3?

Has anyone tried taking a screen from the LX and putting it in the SK3? They're approximately the same size minus the display area (maybe even exactly) and the disassembled pictures look like they could hook up the same. I'm thinking about trying it to see if the display would be larger and better on my SK3 with an LX screen. Even if it does work I'm wondering if the display would change sizes or just be the same size on the larger screen? I don't have an LX so if anyone has a SK3 and an LX they should give it a try and let me know if it works.

that sounds so stupid the thickness of both screens are way different.that would be a waste of time the screen wouldnt fit snug

I guess I should have stated that I was talking about replacing just the lcd portion and the T-Mobile black plastic part with those from an LX, not the entire screen section. Oh and CluBanger this post wasn't about being a "cheap a$$" as you stated, it was about wondering if something would work just for the sake of being able to do it.

ill co-sign with you on that,to the op lets say you do get it working the resolution of the screen wont look nothing like the resolution on the slide or lx lbecause the software isnt the same as on the lx which uses 4.x while the sk3 is 3.x so youll have a big blurry screen,not worth it. save your money and get a real lx.

To the OP. Yes, this is technically possible because the 3 and the lx are essentially the same device just with minor upgrades on the lx. In fact, the screen on the lx was tested on a 3.

Not really. Let's say for example you cracked the screen on your SK3 and needed to replace it anyways. Why not upgrade it in the process? It costs less than buying a new phone.

its not going to work and its going to be easier getting a sk3 screen,like i saod before even if it fits the screen will look blurry because the sk3 doesnt support wqvga screens.
