I have been reading alot of complaints regarding the LG Vu and people returning them...just was wondering if anyone is actually keeping it and enjoys it?

I am going to keep it. I think it is a pretty solid phone and as a phone it functions very well for my needs.

i love my Vu and i will be keeping it.

nope, returned mine after less than 24 hrs...

Two of my friends bought the LG Vu last weekend. They both love it and are definitely keeping since it meets their basic needs. It all comes down to what features you're looking for in a phone.

actually it met my 'needs' fine, but it feels very cheap in the hand and is a super fingerprint magnet, my hands are too big for the virtual keyboard, also it takes forever to load pics and videos off my 2 GB memory card...i did like a few things such as the alarm main screen accessibility through the clock, the fish active wallpaper was fun,LOUD speakerphone...

Most everyone loves the Vu...

for some reason posters of this Forum seem to hate it.

I'd welcome mass returns of the LG Vu. It just means a faster post from at&t for refurbished Vu's at a heavily discounted price. Then I can scoop one up the same way as my Tilt.

Reason being the browsing is unbearable. Has terrible connectivity issues. See the LG forum "LG Vu Dissapointment" thread to find out why the Vu really is a piece of crap.

Anyone who pays $400 for that thing (Vu) has issues....compared to other phones at that price point, it's a piece of crap. I wouldn't even get it if it was a free upgrade because I wouldnt want to waste my upgrade on it. I'll be getting the Iphone 2 and the BlackBerry Bold (9000) when they are releasedw. These phones are ridiculously better than the Vu and at the exact same price point too, shame!

The iPhone will probably come out here soon, within the 30 day return period. Maybe people will switch the Vu out for the iPhone2?

I hate to admit it, but I took back the phone today. I was so confident that I was going to keep this phone. I could not adjust to texting with this phone. Everything else was great. The touch interface really is a deal breaker for this phone. It is no where near as fluid as the iPhone. There really is no comparison between capacitance interface vs. pressure interface.

I played with the phone right before it was on sale and I have to say that I did not like it at all, it was a cheap effort to replicate the iPhone. The phone was quite annoying and the antena that was on it was so 80's. I just could not see myself getting that phone and getting rid of my iPhone. Even though I want a 3G phone so bad, I have been holding out for the 3g iPhone

I wasn't planning on getting a VU because of the price. But i found it online for basically free. (after mir) I got the non tv vu and so far so good.
I guess the reason people hate it, is because they're trying to compare it with the iphone.
