Any decent phones coming out in the next month?

It'd be nice if I could find a sleek looking bar phone that supports GPS (ATT Nav) that is very well rounded. I just can't dig sliders, I'm sick of flip phones, and I just returned my BJII so the full keyboard thing I'm not really into.

But, at the same time, I wouldn't mind considering a slider if there's some on the to-come-out-next-month list.

Anything?

I REALLY like Nokia's candybar N series phones, but GEEZ they're expensive!! If only I could find something like that...

The 8120? That's what I was looking at. I'm still looking at it... it's soooo nice...

I just don't know if I can get used to that keyboard. I mean, it's curved, and in the store it was REALLY hard for me to figure out where the keys were when texting by touch.

Maybe I should give it a shot? What do you guys think?

What the hell, it's your time and money to spend.

Does it really matter what we think? It's you that needs to find a device that you like. At least until you decide to get the 3G iPhone you've thought about getting.

You'll get it, it takes a week or two, but you'll get used to it.

The one thing that was a turn off to me on the Z9 was, with my krzr, when I text, I can eliminate the time of having to wait to hit multiple keys by hitting the right arrow key. The right arrow key on the Z9 when opened is in a more awkward position to hit really quick, so it was a big damper in my opinion. Someone here on hofo just told me that if you hit the star key it does the same thing. If this is true, the Z9 may be a winner.

I checked out the Blackberry, though. Nice phone. I'm just not sure if it's for me. The Z9 feels more phone-ly to me.

There is the nokia n78 candy bar coming out with att hsdpa. True gps, 3mega pix camera with auto focus, slim form, feature pack 2, auto geo tagging of photos with gps coordinates, then upload to flickr, etc. This is one awesome phone if you love candy bar phones. Comes out in june.

I just checked out the N78.

Great feature listing... BUT NO THANKS! That keyboard is horrible looking.

I think I'm sold on the Z9. For the price, 2mpx camera, decent keyboard, slider, gps, nice screen, can't go wrong in my book.

Considering the specs, 3mpx camera and all, I'm willing to bet a decent chunk. It seems like it'd be a phone/smartphone rival of BB's and BJ's.

But, like I said... that keyboard kills it for me 100%.

Niiiiiiice phone otherwise.
