Even though I understand HoFo's policies about ones personal info. I believe it was not handled properly and led most of us to believe there where some sort biased actions. It would have been easier to just put a notice in it's place or contact the parties involved at the moment of thread deletion (how much time/effort could that take?).

But good for the mods if they really do something to stop this thief.

I am sorry for neo and cannibust if they did not receive what they paid for, but this is very surprising to me. Around a month back, I bought a Treo 750 (it is my current phone) from jackeypoo and the transaction went extremely well. I saw his post in this forum and contacted him the same evening. We settled the price, I sent payment by Paypal and he mailed it the very next day by overnight shipping. He had also insured the shipment with no extra charge to me (insurance was not part of the deal). I had received it on the following day. It was brand new as he had promised. He just opened it once to unlock the device before mailing (all the accessories were sealed and the phone had the protective cover intact). The box was delivered to my apartment rental office as I was not home. He noticed that from the tracking info and mailed me to verify if I had really received the device.

I thought I should bring this up. I did not read the original thread by neo, so don't know the details. If there was any wrong doing, it must be corrected. However, all the parties involved should be heard before any judgement is passed.

Well, maybe he wasn't in need of the money at the time...

However it was clear on the deleted post that Neo got a cheap Nokia instead of a Tilt!

Neo had some pictures of the cheap nokia and proved (with email screenshots and posts) that Jakeypoo simply refused to answer back in time and even your dear friend Jakeypoo publicly accepted that he will not refund the money or anything like that! Jakeypoo demonstrated his arrogance and lack of character!

Later in the thread cannibust told us about his experience with Jackeypoo which went the same route as Neo's.

Oh, and almost forgot anout hellomoto's case. Sort of like the same as above but in this case Jakeypoo made the right choice to refund hellomoto's money, but that wasn't because Jackeypoo love his customers, he did it because he knows what hellomoto does in real life

If you Google "Do not buy from jakeypoo !! (until further notice)" which was the original thread title you will get to see the "fine" headset Neo received from this looser.

I just wanted to let others know that my only transaction with jackeypoo was very good and so, I am surprized to hear this. Ok gotcha!

In order to see the deleted thread you have to use the Google cached version of it. (find the option on each query result)

As of yet there is no news, other than that action has been taken to prevent any more fraud. The thread you guys originally posted in is now locked and in the fraud forum for reference here: http://howardforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=182
