the tomtom one doesnt seem to have euro maps, I have checked any others yet. but was hoping if anyone knew off had if there are any with Euro Maps.

I could be very wrong but I thought Google Maps has Euro maps.

well, I am sure they do. but when using google maps, it has to connect to the net. now here in the USA I dont have a issue with that since I have a data plan, but overseas there are international fees and using google maps for gps would get expensive in a heart beat.

so, I was hoping to find some software that has Euro maps but doesnt need to be connected to the net.

Um, I dont know where you are looking, but TomTom has euro maps. They arnt free, you have to buy them. YOu can purchase them directly from TomTom. Also, Smart2Go has Euro maps avalible. I believe S2G has it to where your can buy the map for 30 days if you just taking a short trip.
