I got a few questions about my LG Shine, I am really starting to hate this UI and hope that before I lose my mind and break the phone, somebody here can help me out..

1. How can I set the entry mode to be always on T9? I hate having to keep switching manually each time I got to write a SMS

2. How can I set the phone to save pictures that I take automatically onto my memory card rather than the internal memory...its pissing me off to have to always copy/paste the images to the memory card after taking a bunch of pics/vids

3. Is there an unlock code I can get so I dont have to pay out of my *** while using the phone in Canada? I want to be able to swap SIM cards while in the UK and Canada so I can use local providers.

Call AT&T and ask them for the unlock code. Tell them that you would like to use the phone with a prepaid SIM when you go to Canada. They should give it to you.

1 - On my Shine (CU720) it always remembers the last text mode that I used. So when I'm in the text screen Options/3 Text Entry Mode - and when I choose T9 Abc, it remembers that option for all future messages.

2 - When you camera application is active, you can choose Options/6 Primary Storage/2 Memory Card and it should save all the pictures to the Memory card.

thanks! both posts helped. Phone works like i want to to, and AT&T was able to unlock the phone for me.
