Hi

How do I unlock a W200i ? My nephew wants to have his W200i unlocked and because he has heard that I've had a go he has asked me...Pressures on!!!

I was going to use the Patch Unlock method but it appears it may not be suitable for this phone as a DB2012, I don't know the CID.

A kind person as advised me to look at 4 shared or Topsony.com but I'm not sure what exact files I need? I have been looking for 3 days but I don't know which I need.

I have setool which I used and followed to the book when doing my W580i (NO pressure as it was my own phone). Can I use this and do I just press the unlock button.

I come on this site because I TRUST you guys immensely.

Would someone be so kind to advise me on this - This could make me the best Aunt in the world!!!

The unlock is worth more than the phone if you have to pay for it :P

apparently now it CAN be done..
unfortunately any site I find that says how it can be done is usually filled with posts by people who don't speak English as their first language.. OR any English at all... which makes it tough as nails to figure out..

I did find this page .. but I am not sure exactly how to go about doing this procedure.. if it's even LEGAL.. or if it's with cracked software... or if you actually need the SETool box to complete it..

From what I understand you can do it with a USB cable (DCU-60 cable) and with a version of SETool SW... Now.. whatever that means.. I have no idea.. SETool SW to me means SETool SoftWare version...

If anyone can shed some light on this, that'd be awesome. Although I still don't have a working SIM card to use in my phone to unlock it anyway >_>
