xv6700 and navigation - Please Help

Problem: out of the 10+ tries to use this with the phone, only twice i have been able to run it fine, all other times it freezes my phone and i have to reset it.

Background- I just bought xv6700 to put navigation on it and I need some help.

When I first the got the phone, few days ago, it had wm5 on it. I bought an IO gear navigation system with bluetooh reciever. According to IO gear it works with wm5 not tested on 6 with at least 244 mzh processor and 64 megs memory.

I tried installing it first on the main memory (program) and maps to the sd card. Trying to get this thing to run better, i ever tried installing everything to the sd card (program + maps). I even just upgraded to wm 6.1 last night, First time i used it, it worked GREAT! I thought that was the trick, but second time it, it ran for about 20 minutes than froze my phone again, since then i can't get this navigation to run for more than 5 minutes without being painfully slow or locking my phone up. It is frustrating the Heck out of me.

currently i have storage: total 43.50 / in use 3.39 / free 40.11 Program: 48.34 / in use 23.29 / free 25.05.

wm6.1 came with magic button which closes your programs when you hit X instead of minimizing them, but I still doubled checked and I have NO programs running when i am running navigation. I even tried turning off the phone, so only bluetooth and navigation is running. I have tried a 2gb micro sd card in a mini sd adaptor, and a 128 meg mini sd card, same results. I have only installed 1 state (CT) so far which is 17 megs.

Does anybody out there know or has successfully ran navigation on the xv6700?

If you need anymore info let me know, and if anyone could please give me some suggestions or ideas on how to fix this that would great.

Never Mind, I switched to another GPS software and it works like a charm. Must of been the software.
