software allows your Windows computer to go online by connecting to your Windows Mobile Phone through the ActiveSync cable/dock, Bluetooth or InfraRed. If you own a Treo 700w/700wx/750, Motorola Q, PPC/XV 6700/6800, Sprint Mogul/Touch, Samsung I730/I830/5800, T-Mobile MDA, Cingular 8125/8525 Windows Mobile phone with a data plan, PdaNet will make it your high speed wireless Internet Service for your laptop/desktop computer instantly - no extra hardware or setup necessary, no need to kill ActiveSync or perform any tricky hacking to your device

Internet Sharing in Windows Mobile 6 does the same thing as PDANet and it costs nothing.

lol, 900kbps = ~110KB/s = $5.50/s in Canada. That may be one of the fastest ways to burn money I've come across!

Spend money on what you don't have to. Now here is what I need for you guys. Could someone post the bluetooth pan internet program or connection from your Q. Those of us on ATT do not have this program and we need it. You us, and we can help you.

Installed Motorola USB driver (*supplied on cd, or website here
http://commerce.motorola.com/cgi-bi...m...=1&zipcode=
created a Dial up connection through windows (XP sp2)
phone number = *99#
username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
password: CINGULAR1
Next go to Control Panel>
Phone and Modems>
click on Motorola USB ... >
Properties > Advanced tab >
type +CGDCONT=1,"IP","apn_name" (*Replacing apn_name with your APN like WAP.CINGULAR <<NOTICE THE UPPERCASE!)

This USB Driver is used for connecting your Motorola handset to a 32-bit Windows computer via a USB cable.

Ok, I went out and purchased a bluetooth dongle for my laptop because I don't like wires. It was about 30 bucks and it rocks.

you tell your phone to accept connections from your laptop and it will use the modem on the phone and expect to get about 320bps and 128 up.

And never ever tell AT&T your doing this. I had to show the guys at the ATT store how to do this. Otherwise you will pay for tethering.
