Hey, I dunno if this happens a lot, but my W300i has the white screen of death, but I can still call, recieve calls, and pretty much do anything on the phone except i can't see any of it. I REALLY need to save my contacts to my SIM card, so if you have a W600i, it would really help if you could give me a step by step process to save me contacts to the SIM card. This is want I need to know:
(saving on SIM card)
1) Contacts
2) Options <--- How many time do I press down to get to options?
3)Advanced <--- How many times do I press down to get here?
4) Auto Save on SIM and select ON <--- diddo?
If you can just tell me these thing it would help me SO fricking much. Thanks.

i have had this happen to me. i had to send it in to sony to have them re flash it.
not sure if you need to slide the lock/unlock switch, or how to know if its locked so maybe wait a min or so then slide the lock switch to unlock.
first ill use these as button conventions:
top left=TL
bottom left=back
top right=TR
4 way button=up,down,right,left
center button=select,CB
press the back key a few times to be sure youre at the home screen.
to get to: (all start from home screen)
contacts: TR,down,select
options (in address book): TR, down, select (address book), up, up,select (options)
advanced (in address book): TR, down, select (address book), up, up,select (options),up,select (advanced)
to save contacts to smartchip: TR, down, select (address book), up, up,select (options),up,select (advanced),down, down, down, down, down, select (copy to smartchip),select, select.
auto save to smartchip: TR, down, select (address book), up, up,select (options),up,select (advanced), down, down, select (Autosave on smartchip), select (on),down, select (off)
Try and flash it with the cable and software from the sony site first, worked for me once. then just send it in they will re-flash it back to orig software.
good luck!
remember to take out the smart chip before you send it to sony!
