Still trying to emulate problems using Ziphone 3.0

OK, first and foremost... I'm not trying to prove that Ziphone is safe to use, this is just for my education and amusement.

I'm not screwing it up deliberately of course (by choosing wifi fix, or unplugging the phone while it's running)... But I'm very curious on the problems that I have read for folks who have used Ziphone (greyed out wifi etc). Although it's unconfirmed that they are using 3.0 version.

I've even tried upgrading the BL to 4.6 using Bootneuter... then ran Ziphone again where is downgrades the BL to 3.6. I could not emulate "greyed out wifi".

I really appreciate members who have helped me understand why Ziphone is "dangerous" (thanks cingular#1 ), but I need more explanation on this:

What process exactly is the flashing during the first pass? Is it the flashing of the BL when it's downgrading? Or is it the flashing of large zip files to the ramdisk (32mb) then extracting it there?

Doesn't iLiberty+ ALSO installs applications on 2nd pass?

To my understading... this is dangerous during the process right? Once it's done and successful, it's OK?

This is my rundown of the process using any Unlocking software:

Jailbreak - It's done so you can have 3rd party apps

Activate - It's done so you can access native apps incl phone & sms

Unlock - It's done so you can use ang GSM sim card

Which part of these is dangerous when using Ziphone 3.0? Aside from downgrading the BL... cause you can disable this feature.

I want to know this because I've used Ziphone 3.0 and iLiberty+ 1.3.0 on the same iPhone numerous times to see if anything goes wrong... I can reverse it and re-do the process. I've been successful so far.

OK I also know that Zibri's a jerk...etc, I think if we put that thought aside for a moment I can shed some light in this.

And please... no "All Ziphone processes are dangerous" comments, cause I have tried to emulate the problems by using it numerous times and I have not had a single problem.
