I have Motorola Phone Tools and a krzr, but when I transfer files over they show up in Audio and not ring tone. They play fine in my Mp3 player option, and in my sounds option, but the "Set as Ringtone" option will not appear for any custom mp3s.

I have made sure they are under 30 seconds, I tried them under 30 seconds too and that also did not work. Any help is appreciated.

try song being in mp3 format and just transfer over in file transfer menu into right folder as your ringtones in file view of phone

you probably have verizon because i had the same problem with my krzr. your going to have to send a text message with your mp3 in it. i upload it to a site, http://www.cellsware.info/ringtones , and then get it sent to my phone in a mms message. its great and simple and free.

I have a KRZR and cannot get Phone Tools to work o my PC.
Is there a MAC version and I also tried the website you mentioned, but it tells me that my phone is not supported.
