With a new contract, you can grab a Tilt for less than $300. It has QWERTY and 3G on AT&T. If you just want a device with high speed data and QWERTY, both Sprint and Verizon have a couple options.

thanks for the advice about the tilt but i already have a contract with another carrier (im from puerto rico). the only phone with qwerty my carrier have is the q9h for $269

I sold one (unlocked/unbranded AT&T Tilt) for $350 in mint condition.

if the company has the Q9h i would just go for that!
that would be your best option probably if your in a contract with that carrier already
or get an unbranded Q9
or an unbranded PDA phone
