I am brand new guys so bear with me. If I sell an accessories to the customers and he brings it back to return it the same day, do I get chargedback?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong-it's a wash if it's sold and returned on the same day. The DSR will be your guide.

Be sure that you are not doing this for personal gain, or it will come back to bite you later on.

So I can have a friend come in buy a coupls of the most expensive accessories available, then return them unopened saying someone else already bought them. I get paid comission and don't get chargedback when theya re returned?

I have a hard time believing that, if it true how many time has this already happened.

right, you dont get any chargebacks on accessories as far as your commission goes. it's not like we're making anything off of them anyways....4cent on the dollar is nothing. but if the accessory is returned within the 30 day period it comes off of DSR

No chargebacks, but they will fire your *** if you make a habit of it.

so you sell a car cord for 30.00 and only get 1.20 ? a car cord that ATT pays MAYBE 2.00 for, that includes the packaging.

really a 1.20 ?

Your math is correct. The profit on accessories is enormous. At 4%, there are no chargebacks.

In our comp plan meeting prior to April 1, we asked why we don't get a higher payout on accessories. The reply was that there would be 3 tiers like there are with features, and there would be chargebacks. We all agreed that a lower payout with chargebacks wouldn't make any sense.

When you return an accessory, it counts against the accessory ratio of the rep returning it, not the rep that sold it (unless you manually change it after it's in the shopping cart).

As for chargebacks, I wouldn't mind it as most accessories don't come back. They are returned far far less than features are cancelled.

From what I've noticed there is never any charge backs on accessories, regardless
of when they are returned. The only thing I'm not 100% sure is same day returns.
I always thought it gets washed and there is no credit..but I've heard that you do.

Agents obviously pay differently, so here is what happens to us:

Accessory get sold, you get a percentage of the sale...usually in the 20-40% range.
Accessory get returned within return policy, you get charged back the same amount. And the rep that sold it takes the hit...not the poor fellow stuck invoicing it.

Pretty fair system if you ask me.

Yeah thats the most econmoical, why doesn't corp do that, I'm getting pissed, our company dropped the commision 15% on ACC. I was making a killing on acc, I had almost 200% acc rate on 60 phones in feb. my checks were bigger than my assistant manager who sold 90 phones
