random m506 error playing mp3 on my sprint v9m

I am getting random "Error M506:Unable to Play Song. (Song Name) cannot be played" on my v9m. when the player reaches several files, i got this error. rebooting the player and directly selecting those files and they play.

I have tried renaming to shorter names, formating the card in fat and fat32 (2 gb card), try a different card, etc.

Please help. thanks
