Can any 905 take good pics in low-no light

I need to upgrade as my k800/k810 is starting to show its age. This thing takes great pics when I'm in a bar and there's almost no light and that's why I love it. During the day almost any new camera phone can take good pics so that really isn't an issue for me. I like the p905 a lot but I would hate to downgrade my camera at this point. The megapixels being 5 does nothing for me as I wont be printing posters anytime soon. I've attached a couple of untouched pics from my k800 as an example. Considering this phone is almost two years old I want better then this. Also, I can't go with the 903 because I keep the phone in my pocket and I don't want to start having to where baggy pants so people don't get the wrong idea about my excitement level. I think the I-mobile 902 will probably be my next phone even though it is supper boaring compared to any 905 series. Your thoughts?

My advice is not get the 905 series if you take shots at not, or spontaneous shots at the bar. All they have is a torch light on the back and as we all know that technology is primal compared to Xenon flash on the K800 and N series phones.

Night pics with the 905i series are absolutely horrendous.

Either that or you invest/bring a point and shoot everywhere you go along with your 905i phone.

Hmmm, if you really want pictures and want a xenon flash, the 920sc would be one of your few choices... Be warned though, the simhack for the 920sc is far from perfect

I thought that was the one that can only make calls and none of the multimedia stuff has been unlocked? I actually really like the black and red one and the dimensions as well. The screen could be bigger like the n95 8gb slider I had for a couple weeks but 2.4 isn't bad.

no that is the 920sh, 920sc is samsung

it's gotta be so905ics. It works as a real DC =)
Let me know if you're interested.
I have a pink one for sale.

not really, so905ics does not take the best pictures in the 905i series
there's no reason to buy it, uglier UI than the rest of the 905i, much chunkier, much smaller screen, slower response and lack of english T9

the best pic qualities on 905i comes from panasonic and fujitsu
sorry to admit that

I wouldn't recommend you getting the so905ics for night picture, the phone automatically adjust the iso and you end up with a bright picture with a lot of noise.

Though picture at night with close range is pretty good, macro is great.

It's a shame that it's night function isnt comparable to the k850i.

You should get the k850i, it has qvga video recording using mp4 and aac (you get good sound and decent video)

the 905ics record video at vga which is great but audio is in amr codec which give crappy sound!! and crappy is an understatement.

I have narrowed it down to three and unfortunately none of them have the sweet screens available in the 905 series. k850, Viewty or N82. I will probably end up with the KE990 version of the Viewty seeing that it kills two birds with one stone.(K800 for pics and calls and Ipod video for watching movies on flights) I just hope the night pics are good cause I don't want to have to turn around and resell it a week later like I did with the Nokia N95 8gb. People who have given this things camera good reviews are definately new to the world of camera phones or are just happy that their phone actually takes pictures. Carl Ziess should be ashamed for putting their name behind such a lackluster camera. From reviews I've read the N82 does seem to be a different story and that GPS and wifi would be nice.

>_> I would advise you not to get any of the 905 series if your really picky about the quality since the cameras aren't the main selling points of the series (well to me at least)

Night pictures on my p905i aren't that great but its tolerable. But I wouldn't even go as far as to say that they are anything compared to the Nseries or something.

I thought the N905i was supposed to have the best all round picture quality?

Outside of the 905 series I believe the N82 is supposed to take the best night pictures?

n905i pics are noisier than P and F's, on average

seeing that none of them have a real flash I would think that the N82 would take way better pics at night then any 905 phone. I would however, like to see some candid low-no light pics from any 905 phone. I searched and could only find daylight or outside night pics with no people. If I saw some good pics from one of those it would make my decision real easy.

I wonder which of the 905 phones has the most powerful LED flash?
