Transfer Me Please

Hi everyone, Im currently a RSC in the south florida market. Ive been working at a COR store and im loving it. I dont want to leave the store im at, the other employees are awsome, most of us are all friends. My RSM is awsome too. But ive come across a problem. I have to move to New Jersey the first week in August and i dont know what to do. I have
Does AT&T transfer employees? I need suggestions, ideas, just flat out help with my situation. I do enjoy working for the company and i wouldnt want to leave anytime soon.

Check out the store locator on www.cingular.com and then check the DSR for that store. If you like what you see contact that manager asap and tell him your story. If your numbers are good and they have any need for another rep you will be welcomed with open arms. Any store would take a solid transfer rsc over a new hire if there was a need.

I've seen on one occasion a co-worker of mine who was moving and she was able to get transferred from a call center to a cor store. she rarley exceeded any of her goals but atleast always met and overall was a decent employee.
i think the only question is if that have an open posistion for you in the state you're moving to.

it also has union regulations involved, because jersey is a union area. i dont know if florida is, but as far as i know, i could be wrong, if there is an opening posted, and you post for it, as long as someone with higher seniority does not post for it, you get it.

Thanks guys, yeah we have a union here. anyway there are positions avaliable in the area im moving to, ill just apply to the post on att.com and take it from there.

You can apply internally in HR One Stop??? If you have that there... I think everyone has access to it.
